This years fishing opener produced large amounts of fish. The largest fish of the opener was 9lbs. 4oz. Caught on a green jig by Scott Olafson of Garden Grove. Craig Fournier was lucky enough to get a four fish stringer that weighed in over 18 lbs. His largest trout was 7 lbs. 8oz. Most anglers were limiting out on anything they could put in the water. It seemed like the fish were jumping into the boats. With the continued stocking programs it seems the we will have another great year of fishing.
